This week under the Erasmus + Mobility Programme, Dr Lampang Manmart, the Dean and Associate Dean for International Cooperation and Marketing Dr Ruchirat Patanathabutr from Khon Kaen University, College of Graduate Study in Management, Thailand visited BA School of Business and Finance (BASBF).

During the Erasmus+ mobility stay the representatives from Khon Kaen University met with the rector, academic staff, management and administrative staff of BASBF. They were acquainted with the BASBF, the cultural and nature diversity of Latvia.

At the meetings and discussions the staff of BASBF and the visitors from Thailand shared their experience on the organisation and quality assessment of the study process, paying particular attention to the issues of internationalisation and international cooperation, recruitment of students and professional competence building of staff. In order to promote international recognition and strengthen its reputation, BASBF and Khon Kaen University, College of Graduate Study in Management focus on the development of international cooperation, the development of joint projects, participation in international ratings, and active participation in professional associations.

Both parties highly evaluated the previous cooperation and expressed their interest and commitment to strengthen further the cooperation to develop and enrich the content of studies, to build professional competence of staff, and to improve internationalisation policies and practices in both partner universities.

The interinstitutional cooperation agreement on cooperation within the framework of the European Union Erasmus + Programme mobility project 2019-1-LV01-KA107-060201 was concluded in 2019 between the BASBF and the Khon Kaen University, College of Graduate Study in Management. The cooperation is co-financed by Erasmus + project 2019-1-LV01-KA107-060201.
