BASBF signs a long-term cooperation agreement with EY Latvia

On May 17th, BA School of Business and Finance (BASBF) signed a long-term cooperation agreement with EY (Ernst & Young) with aim to promote the development of higher education and the improvement of the business environment.

This Cooperation means that EY Latvia will be a long-term support for BA School of Business and Finance and its students by annualy creating a database of  topics of Bachelor and Master thesis (allowing students to acquire practice-based knowledge and research experience), providing lectures, mentors and at least 15 internship spots and scholarships for last year students of BASBF, every study year rewarding the best Bachelor and Masters thesis, as well as, at the beginning of each academic year, providing university student days at EY premises.

During the visit, Rector Dr. Liga Peiseniece also met with many Alumni of BA School of Business and Finance who currently are building their Careers at EY. As Rector stated, “It was wonderful to meet out Alumni. It is always a pleasure to see how professional and grown up are those, who just a few years ago where sitting in out lectures. A wave of pride comes over for our students and alumni”.
