BA School of Business and Finance started a new study year of 2019/2020 with opening events. Speeches were given by the Rector of the BA School of Business and Finance, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, Programme directors, graduates and students.
On 30th of August, the first formal event was for the students from double degree bachelor’s study programme “International Finance” and master’s study programme “International Finance and Banking”. They were welcomed by Andris Sarnovičs, Rector of the BA School of Business and Finance, study srogramme director Tatjana Mavrenko and SBS Swiss Business School study programme director Izabela Karafiloska.
On 2nd of September, the new students from the full-time bachelor’s study programmes “Finance”, “Business Administration”, “Risk Management and Insurance”, “Financial Management Information System” and the 27 participants from the Erasmus + programme from all over Europe were welcomed to BA School of Business and Finance.
Andris Sarnovičs, Rector of the BA School of Business and Finance wished this new study year full of knowledge and successful training process.
Vice-rector for Academic affairs Līga Peiseniece recalled that in every Career Day, which is held by BA School of Business and Finance, employers are looking for personalities and professionals all in one. BA School of Business and Finance helps to acquire skills and develop personality. After 2 years of studies, a student is prepared for the labor market and is seen as a fully-fledged colleague during practice.
