Aim of the study programme
The aim of the study programme is to prepare highly qualified specialists who acquire the competencies of both programming engineers and financial managers for professional activity in Latvia and abroad.
Core competencies upon programme completion:
- Knowledge in software development (systems analysis, design, coding, testing), as well as software implementation and maintenance.
- Ability to understand and analyze software design documents, requirement specifications, documentation, and code of maintainable systems, and to make modifications as needed.
- Proficiency in using software development environments and tools.
- Creative thinking skills for developing new methods and approaches to solve problems using computer systems.
- Understanding of current financial trends and principles, with the ability to navigate financial processes and explain them effectively.
