On September 21st, during the Board meeting the new Senate hadbeen elected:
The Senate of the school shall be elected for 3 years. According to the Constitution of the BA School of Business and Finance, the Senate approves the procedures and regulations governing all areas of university activity, electing dotes, lecturers, assistants, leading researchers, researchers and department leaders, approving the directors and prospects of study programmes, study programmes, deciding on university departments, approving the budget and determining study fees and other duties specified in regulatory enactments.
Until November 30th, 2021, the newly elected Senate will continue to carry out the full functions provided for in the Board of the BA School of Business and Finance, as well as, if necessary, perform some of the duties assigned to the Board of Higher Education, which will be established by November 30th, 2021 at the latest.
The Board of the school will continue to be responsible for the sustainable development, strategic and financial supervision of the university and will ensure its functioning in accordance with strategic objectives. The Senate of BASBF after the Board starts their work will be a collegial upper academic decision-making body responsible for schools’ education, research, development, creative activity and compliance with internationally recognised quality standards in higher educations. The Senate will manage schools’ academic, creative and scientific activities.
