The finalists of the Latvian Information and Communication Technology Association (LIKTA) annual award “Platinum Mouse 2020” have been determined. Among them, this year the BA School of Business and Finance professional master’s study program “Cybersecurity Management“. The winners of the award will be announced at the LIKTA annual conference this year at 2nd December.
“Platinum Mouse” is the industry’s most prestigious award, which recognizes the most successful digital solutions created in Latvia, the most outstanding project authors and developers. The professional master’s study program “Cybersecurity Management” of BA School of Business and Finance, which is among the finalists of LIKTA, has been nominated in the category – “The Best Cyber Security Initiative”. Sintija Deruma, Director of the BA study program, emphasizes: “The studies in this program provide each Master’s student with an in-depth understanding of various aspects of cybersecurity management, focusing on concepts, the latest management strategies to apply later in various business areas closely related to digital economy development.”
The competition is held in five categories: “Artificial Intelligence Solution – for Society and Business”, “Company Digital Transformation”, “National Digital Transformation”, “Best e-Teacher”, “Best Cyber Security Initiative”, as well as a special award for the most successful e-signature integration solution. A record number of applicants has been entered for the “Platinum Mouse 2020” award – 51.
Until January 15, 2021, winter enrollment in several study programs BA School of Business and Finance will continue, including in the “Cybersecurity Management” program. The beginning of studies is planned at 1st of February, 2021. More information: https://bit.ly/33ojXrO
