BASBF exchanges experiences at Kaunas University of Technology

As a part of the mobility of ERASMUS programme, representatives of BA School of Business and Finance made a experience exchange visit to Kaunas University of Technology  (“KTU”) on September 16-17th in Lithuania.

KTU is the Lithuanian State University, founded in 1922, with more than 153 000 graduates since then. The KTU vision of the university mission is to develop a harmonious partnership between science, business and industry, develop new ideas, promote inventions, provide research-based studies at international level and transfer knowledge and innovative technologies to the sustainable development of the country. KTU has developed a creative environment open to innovation in its day-to-day activities that inspires talent and future leaders in the economy and business. It was also verified by the representative of BA School of Business and Finance who  shared experience with the representative of KTU and provided several exchange lectures to students at the Faculty of Economics and Business.

The representatives of BA School of Business and Finance met with Editu Gimžauskieni, the dean of  the KTU Faculty of Economics and Business, visited the KTU Library, the upgraded study rooms and the Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab – the world’s business and financial information movement laboratory, met with representatives of mobility projects, research project management, the Career Centre and international development experts, as well as during the visit at KTU, the Rector of BA School of Business and Finance Liga Peiseniece also discussed the cooperation with the BMDA (Baltic Management Development Association). During the meeting, we agreed on the exchange of mobility for active students and academic staff and on active cooperation in projects in the circular economy, financial technology and cybersecurity.

During the exchange programme, lecturers from BA School of Business and Finance gave lectures on HRM module, shared knowledge in the fields of studies – “Contemporary HRM Theories and Concepts” and “Innovation Management lecture”.
