Professor specializes in the green economy, circular economy, design on sustainability, business control systems and management, civil defense, and work safety. She has more than 25 years of experience in business consulting and she is an author of research articles and books published nationally and internationally.

Work experience and previous education

Dzintra Atstāja is a Professor at the Department of Management and head of the Laboratory of Sustainability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness at BA School of Business and Finance (Latvia), Doctor of Social Sciences in Economics, and Scientific Expert of Economics and Entrepreneurship, as well as  Social and Economic Geography sciences at the Latvian Council of Science.
