International Guest Lecturer Week
BA School of Business and Finance will welcome lecturers from all over the world during International Guest Lecturere Week on October 24th-28th, 2022.
The aim of the International Guest Lecturer Week is mutual international cooperations, exhange of experience, knowledge and projects. These weeks are a great opportunity for our students to learn from experts and lecturers from abroad and hear about interesting topics and research from a new perspective. It is important for us and for Guest lecturers to build mutual partnerships, make new contacts and gain new educational and cultural experience.

BA School of Business and Finance annually organizing International Guest Lecturer Week in November.
In 2019 we hosted 26 professors from 10 different nations, from countries like Greece, Portugal, Belgium, Cyprus, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Georgia, India and The Netherlands.
International Guest Lecturer Week brings significant investment to student education; broadens horizons and gives international expertise.
Apart from teaching, we offer professors cultural programs to discover what are Latvia and Latvians, through telling about our history, singing, and dancing. Networking among international guest lecturers is an important part of International Guest Lecturer Week; we create a collaborative environment for new ideas for new projects and sharing each other experience of teaching methodologies.
International Guest Lecturer Week 2022 will be held from 9 May until 13 May.
Guest lecturers will be asked to teach 1-2 times per week for at least 4 academic hours each time. After registration, we kindly asking guest lecturers to send a short summary of the main topic with learning objectives and learning outcomes, maximum 5 PowerPoint slides. We invite you to teach on following topics for Bachelor’s degree students: Marketing, Financial or Management Accounting, Insurance, Management, Strategic Management, Financial Analysis, Project Management, Microeconomics, Social Responsibility, Risk Management, Innovation, Intercultural, Communication, Customer Service, Banking Services, Law, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource, Logistics, Cyber Security, Business English or other Business Management topics.
Application for International Guest Lecturer Week will be open at the beginning of 2022.

We are welcoming both BA School of Business and Finance partner university professors and future partners. Visiting professors may use home university Erasmus+ mobility grants or other home universities financial support.
