In the face of a rapidly changing environment different industries have been affected in various ways: it has proven to be very challenging to sustain a balanced business development. It is important to share research results and discuss the ideas in seeking for new business models and efficient risk management principles in the digital age.
In order to investigate the most appropriate ways to sustain and develop business in the contemporary world the conference will focus on six main directions that will be represented by the following sections:
- Business models in the digital age
- Sustaining digital leadership: human resources and smart technology strategies for growth
- Start – ups: perspective areas, governmental support, available funding
- Striking the balance between risk and return
- Customers’ behavior and decision making in the digital age
- Cyber agenda: product development versus cyber risks
- Challenges of financial management in digital age
Working languages of the conference: English.
There will be two types of presentations at the conference: plenary papers (30 minutes), section papers (15-20 minutes).

- 150 EUR after March 20, 2016
Conference fee includes: coffee breaks, welcome reception, conference dinner, publication costs of abstracts and proceedings.

Call for Papers
1 page (1000-1200 signs) abstracts clearly highlighting contribution of the research, methodology and key results should be submitted by April 8, 2016. Both empirical and conceptual papers are welcome! Abstracts have to be submitted in English.
Following the blind review process, notifications about the acceptance of the papers will be sent by April 18, 2016.
The authors of the accepted papers will receive an invitation to submit a paper for the Proceedings of the Conference. The full paper should not exceed 10 pages. Instructions about format of the manuscript are available on the conference website: asbbmc.com. The deadline for submitting the full paper is July 29, 2016.
Publications
Selected papers will be published in the Journal of Business Management (ISSN 1691-5348; indexed in the EBSCO Publishing Data bases) and sent to one of Thomson Reuters (formerly ISI) Web of Knowledge journals.
The best quality papers will be recommended for the publication in the Baltic Journal of Business Management (Emerald).
All accepted Conference papers will be published online in the Conference book of proceedings.
Having received the notification about the paper acceptance, the author(s) guarantee that the submitted paper has not been published, accepted for publication, or is under consideration for publication elsewhere.
