  • Rotterdam is the second largest city in the Netherlands with approximately one million inhabitants. City center was built from ashes after the Second World War, that’s why the city is very contemporary with modern infrastructure and architecture. City streets are specially designed for cyclers, so cycling became one of my new hobby here as well.

In this university I could experience a different style of studying. It was rare that a lecturer just talked and showed presentations in front of the class, more often lecture were organized as discussion, independent work or even simulations. During IBAC minor students were divided into groups of four. Groups cooperated with real companies and their goal was to develop a full strategy plan for entering new export markets. Groups were combined with students with different specializations, for example Marketing, Business Management and Finance students.

In result, over these 5 months I have acquired new knowledge within international trade and now I have friends all over the world. Now, Europe and the world seems smaller and more reachable than ever.

Besides studies I had enough time to enjoy the student parties and use the chance to expand my private contacts in connection with my hobby – classic cars.
