On December 2, 2016 our International Guest Lecturer Week, what the university organizes each year has successfully finished! This year BA School of Business and Finance welcomed 19 guest professors and lecturers from our partner universities in Austria, Belgium, Finland, India, Italy, Malaysia, Norway, Germany, Greece and Poland. Guest lecturers delivered classes for our students in business administration, finance and risk management, business communication area, strategic management and knowledge management. As well as many other relevant topics were offered.
Like guest lecturers admitted themselves, everybody was very happy to have such international experience, opportunity to develop new contacts and spend time in such a beautiful country like Latvia! Guest professor from our partner university in Greece, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology in Kavala, Dr Dimitrios Maditinos emphasizes that the BA School of Business and Finance has been cooperating with his university for more than 15 years already. And each year he sees so many achievement and improvements reached. Guest professor also appreciated high potential of our students to deal professionally in international environment.
At the end of the guest lecturer week BA School of Business and Finance students appreciated organization of such international event, as well as confirmed its importance towards professional benefits the students may get.
Like each year, during this week BA School of Business and Finance also organized professional discussion among the guest lecturers and academic staff of the School. This year participants discussed cooperation opportunities within different international projects according to the universities needs and scientific interests.
