ENTREPRENEURSHIP
If you think you possess managerial abilities, you are full of creative ideas and able to make people support them, if you are sociable, creative, willing to take control over your own life, the diploma of the BA School of Business and Finance received after two years of studies will provide you the opportunity to become the founder or owner of an enterprise!

Study length: 2 years of full-time studies, 2.5 years of part-time studies
Qualification awarded: entrepreneurship specialist
Having successfully graduated from the 1st level professional higher education study programme "Entrepreneurship" students acquire knowledge and skills necessary for starting a private business and working professionally in Latvian and foreign enterprises as well as receive a diploma of the1st level professional higher education that allows them to complete any Bachelor's degree study programme.
1st level study programme "Entrepreneurship" offers:
- to acquire knowledge and skills necessary for starting a private business and working professionally in enterprises;
- to gain practical experience in entrepreneurship during the placement in leading Latvian and foreign enterprises;
- opportunity to study one semester abroad in the framework of a student exchange programme;
- to study under the guidance of experienced and professional teachers;
- to gain new study experience and impressions studying together with youth from other countries.

BANKING OPERATIONS
Do you like counting money? Do you want to know how the money "grows"? Would you like to work in an orderly, dynamic and cultural environment?
Become a banking specialist and you will get an interesting and creative job as well as career opportunities in more than 20 Latvian banks, credit institutions and leasing companies!

Study length: 2.5 years of full-time studies, 3 years of part-time studies
Qualification awarded: banking specialist
Having successfully graduated from the study programme students receive a diploma of the 1st level higher education in "Banking Operations" which allows them to complete a Bachelor’s degree programme.
1st level study programme "Banking Operations" offers:
- the only study programme in Latvia that prepares banking specialists with the 1st level professional higher education;
- to become a banking specialist who provides clients with high quality financial services and advice, deals with securities and foreign currencies, has a good knowledge of documents regulating banking operations;
- student placement opportunities in Latvian commercial banks;

Having successfully graduated from the 1st level professional higher education study programme "Accountancy and Finance" students acquire knowledge and skills necessary for accounting record keeping in state, municipal and private institutions, gain practical experience in accountancy and finance during the placement in leading Latvian and foreign enterprises, receive a diploma of the 1st level professional higher education that allows them to complete any Bachelor’s degree study programme.
